  • The alpaca of Suri type produces a shinier fiber without ripples, which grows parallele to the body in long and shiny curls.

The quality of the fiber is divided into 6 categories, from the highest quality (Royal Super Baby with less than 20 micron in diameter) to the least valuable (MP Corta).

The different qualities identified meet the requirements of the Peruvian Technical Standards NTP 231.301.2014.
